Overview
What Healthcare does for you
DV Soft Healthcare runs a hospital from the front desk to the laboratory to the invoice. Reception registers patients, books appointments and runs the daily OPD token queue. Doctors write prescriptions that are checked against the patient's recorded allergies and common drug interactions as they are written. Nurses record vitals and give doses from a drug chart timed to the ward's rounds. The laboratory, pharmacy, wards, operation theatre, blood bank and accounts work on the same patient record.
Billing follows the work. Pharmacy dispensing raises its invoice as it is dispensed, and ward stays, completed lab tests and theatre procedures raise theirs on completion. The revenue-leakage report lists work that was done and never invoiced. A lab result is entered by one person and released by another, critical values stay in view until somebody records who was told, and invoices are corrected through credit notes and write-offs that keep the original amount and the reason.
The same software runs two ways. Hosted for you, each hospital gets a workspace at its own address with its own name and logo, and its records are kept in a database of their own. On your own server, it runs inside your network with no internet connection at all, and supports several branches for hospital groups. Medical history, allergies and lab results are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and every entry in the activity log is signed so that tampering with it shows.

Billing that follows the work
Pharmacy dispensing raises its invoice as it is dispensed, on every plan. Ward stays, completed lab tests and theatre procedures raise theirs on completion, and the revenue-leakage report lists work that was done and never invoiced (Professional plan).
Allergy checks that understand drug classes
A recorded penicillin allergy warns when amoxicillin is prescribed, and cephalosporins warn as a possible cross-reaction. Warnings never block: the prescriber types a reason and it is kept with the prescription.
Lab results released by a second person
The person who enters a result cannot release it. It stays provisional, and out of the patient portal, until somebody else has checked it. A corrected result keeps the old value and reads as amended (Professional plan).
Critical values that stay in view
Each test can carry critical low and high figures set by your laboratory. A result beyond them is flagged on entry, shown in red, and listed above the verification queue until somebody records by name who they told.

Invoices corrected in the open
An invoice cannot be edited. An administrator or the accountant issues a credit note or a write-off instead, never the receptionist, and the original amount, the reason and who issued it are kept and printed on the bill.
An audit trail that shows tampering
Every entry in the activity log is signed. Editing, forging, renumbering or deleting entries is detectable, and sign-ins, failed sign-ins and billing exports are recorded in the same log.
A patient portal on every plan
Patients sign in at your hospital's own address to see their appointments, prescriptions, released lab results and invoices, and to book appointments online.

Is DV Soft Healthcare available now?

Can we run it on our own server?
Yes. The self-hosted edition runs on your hardware, inside your network, with no internet connection at all, and supports several branches. It needs PHP 8.1 or newer, MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+, and Apache or nginx. It is priced per installation.
Is our data kept separate from other hospitals?
Yes. On the hosted edition each hospital's records live in their own database, not a shared table. Medical history, allergies and lab results are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, using a key kept outside the database.
Does the allergy check stop a prescription?
No. It warns and never blocks: the prescriber records a reason and it is kept with the prescription. The built-in rules are a starter set of 40 common interactions and 66 drug-class mappings, and can be extended with a licensed drug database.
What happens if we outgrow our plan?
A single-site hospital that needs more staff logins or patient records does not have to change plan: the limits are raised on the plan it already has and priced case by case. Several sites run on the self-hosted edition.
Is it connected to ABDM and ABHA?
For hospitals in India it is ABHA-ready: you record patients' ABHA numbers and manage their consent, and a patient's record can be exported as FHIR R4. The connection to the ABDM gateway is on the roadmap, and no ABDM certification is claimed.
